PRIVACY POLICY MODEL FOR ACP MOBILE APPLICATIONS

This privacy policy governs your use of the software applications  (“Applications”) for mobile devices created by A Connected Planet (ACP). ACP develops early grade education applications for use in its Tablet Implementation Program. ACP applications are designed to work in a stand-alone mode without Internet connectivity.

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information 

ACP Applications do not obtain, collect nor record any information on users. There is no registration necessary in order to use the Applications, and there will not be any contact between the user and ACP.

Automatically Collected Information 

In addition, the Applications do not collect any information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application. 

Do the Applications collect precise real time location information of the device? 

The Applications do not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device. 

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The Applications do not collect any information from the user and thus cannot share to third parties. 

What are my opt-out rights?

The Applications do not collect any information from the user; hence opt-out rights do not apply. 

Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information

ACP does not collect any data so it cannot retain User Provided data or Automatically Collected information.

Children

We do not use the Application to solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. 

Security

The Application does not collect nor record any information from its users, thus we are not concerned with security breaches. Confidentiality measures have not been set up.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy on www.aconnectedplanet.org and on the Application’s listing on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Applications, you are not agreeing to any collection of User Information, Automatically Collected Information and Data Retention as set forth in this Privacy Policy now.
