ACP-The Team

	Greg Hearne is the Chief Executive Officer and President of the Board of Directors. He founded A Connected Planet with his wife Dr. Sheila Hearne in 2012. Sheila passed away suddenly in 2023 due to surgical complications. She is missed. Greg has over 40 Years of technical management experience around the globe in support of both government and humanitarian missions. He has a BS in Computer Science and MS Certificated in Project Management. Greg is Project Management Professional (PMP), Six Sigma certified and recently passed his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) examination.
Dr. Joshua Hearne is the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Board of Directors. He advises on all phase of operations. He is a specialist setting up and managing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) components of programs. Joshua has a background in both the government and private sectors, specifically in social science research and human capital. He has a BA in Psychology, a BA in Spanish, a MS in Industrial-Organizational (I/O) Psychology and a Doctorate in Business Administration.
	Benjamin Boggess is the Haiti Country Program Director. He is responsible for managing all aspects of the implementation projects and serves as the primary point of contact for ACP’s external engagements and partnerships in Haiti. Benjamin brings extensive field experience in Haiti to his role at ACP. He has a BS in International Business and Economic Development and a master’s degree in Development Management. His masters thesis was on educational theory, ICT policies, and the use of ICTs in education in Haiti. Benjamin is fluent in English, French and Haitian Creole.
Meggan Edwards is a speech language pathologist who volunteers her time with ACP. She assists in the educational components of language for the use in educational applications. Meggan has extensive knowledge in early language development and literacy skills. She has a BS in Communication Sciences and Disorders, a BS in Psychology and a MS in Speech Language Pathology.
	Dr. Stephen Edwards is the Educational Subject Matter Expert who volunteers his time with ACP. He assists in designing, developing, and integrating technology into the Haitian schools. He has a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, a Master's of Education (ME) degree with a focus in reading education and a Doctorate of Education (EdD). Stephen has extensive background in public education and is currently the principal of Fairview Elementary School in Fox Chapel, PA. As a senior educator and a certified reading specialist with a background in language arts, Stephen strives to use technology to promote literacy development for children.
